Erik

Erik

Erik is a lifelong musician, nerd, and entertainer. He has surrounded himself with noise makers and recording facilities for as long as he can remember. He holds a degree in Jazz Performance, and speaks the language of music just about as well as he navigates technology. Primarily a bassist, Erik is a proficient multi instrumentalist, and can contribute just about whatever is needed to get a song across the finish line, whether it is just the right amount of saxophone, some wailing hammond organ, chunky guitars, or a bass groove you could drive a truck through, his skills are ready and waiting. Acting as producer, engineer, or supporting musician, Erik can take your projects from beginning to end with care, nuance, and detail that will absolutely satisfy.

Don

One thing is true across all musical styles and genres… the song and the performances are everything. I love a record that sounds GREAT. I love making records that sound GREAT, but there are also hundreds of examples of recordings that are perfectly imperfect because the song and performance stand above everything else. Helping to find and capture the thing that makes a piece of music connect and getting the details right, are what I (and we) really care about. Sometimes you have to go look for it, but sometimes you just have to roll tape, stay out of the way, and let it happen.

Professional Gear Roster

The heart of the studio is an M4 Mac Mini which is shockingly good at crunching audio data. We actively use both REAPER and Pro Tools, and have Logic Studio installed for additional support. Our plugin collection includes FabFilter, Plugin Alliance, Valhalla DSP, and many more. All equipment is available for any project that demands it. Equipment does come and go, and we do our best to keep everything up to date!
